《绅士儿子》

前几天，我带孩子们去Chick-fil-a快餐厅吃午饭。进门后，我站在柜台前，正准备点饭，一个美国人走过来，指着十岁的儿子，问：“这是你儿子吗？”

“是”，我回答。

“我名叫Daryl Saylor，是这店的老板。我注意到你儿子进门时，主动给一老妇人推开门。你们今天的甜点算我帐上啦！”

“啊？不！你没必要这样做！”，我出乎意外。

“我是没必要这样做，但你儿子也没必要那样做啊！”，店老板笑着对答。

众所周知，这家连锁店创始人是基督徒，尤其在反对同性恋上明确信仰。这个分店老板的意外奖励对儿子影响很大。

儿子接连几天表现出小绅士风度。我也很感谢这家店，给儿子上了一课。

《Good Manner Rocks》

Today I took kids to Chick-fil-a for lunch, after entering the door, we were standing in line, and about to order. A gentleman came to me pointing to my son and asked: "Is this your son ?"

I said "Yes."

"My name is Daryl Saylor, and I am the owner of this restaurant. Your son opened and held the door for an old lady without you asking him to, and I appreciate that, and all your desserts are on me. "

"Oh no! You don't have to do this Daryl ! " I replied.

"I know I don't have to do this, but your son didn't have to do that either." Daryl replied smiling.

I know Chick-fil-a is run by Christian beliefs, but this surprise episode, either from advertising or practicing, has an impact on my son.

He is excited ! And I am thankful, not only for the free dessert, but also for a good lesson to my son.
